Mass spectrometry confirms the observed molecular weight matches the declared peptide sequence. This catches misidentified or substituted material that HPLC alone cannot detect.

Lyophilisation quality and vial integrity are checked before release. A peptide that passes chromatography but arrives as a degraded or damaged vial is not acceptable for research bench work.

HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) measures the purity of a peptide sample by separating components and reporting the percentage of the target compound. For research use, a numeric purity result with the method stated on the COA is more meaningful than a generic "lab tested" badge.
Is HPLC enough on its own?
HPLC confirms purity but not identity. SupplyPeptides also requires mass-spectrometry identity verification and physical QC of lyophilisation and vial integrity — a three-step standard most UK resellers do not publish.
